Coloris is a gorgeous 6 stranded cotton embroidery thread featuring 4 distinct DMC colours in a single skein. These contrasting colours are carefully selected to create a sophisticated palette and an intricate design when stitched – with no need to switch threads.  

Colour sequence change every 5cm. 

These cottons can be used in the same way as DMC Stranded Cottons and give stunning results to your finished work, creating a unique finish every time.  

Original heirloom quality DMC cotton embroidery floss.  

Easy care. Can be washed in warm water. Colourfast. Light-fast, wash-fast. No harsh contrasts, colours blend gently and seamlessly one into another.  

Subtle colour changes every few stitches.  

100% organic wool threads get their rich colour palette entirely from natural dyes, using leaves, roots and berries of ingredients such as walnut, rhubarb, indigo and juniper. 

No chemicals or mulesed wool are used in the process. 

Thread is wool mark certified and hand washable at 30%. 

Eco Vita has an even thickness and gentle twist which make it perfect for hand embroidery, cross stitching, punch needle, weaving and mending. Crewel wool thread is used as a single strand , approximately the same thickness as three strands of Mouline Special.  

Colourfast, fade and sweat resistant. 

Skeins are 16m / 17.5 yd.

DMC Satin Embroidery thread is the glossiest DMC embroidery thread. Made from 100% rayon fibres it really glides through the fabric. With 6 easily separated size 25 strands, it is perfect for embroidery. 

DMC Light Effects metallic thread is a divisible, six-strand glistening thread that will add a twinkle and special touches to you cross stitch and embroidery. This 100% polyester thread is colorfast and tarnish resistant.
